As responsible breeders we must pass on a warning to you about this amazing breed - Border Collies are not for everyone.

Like people, Border Collies come in all different shapes and sizes, and they all have their own unique personalities. BUT they are all working dogs and the herding instinct is bred into each and every one of them.

The Border Collie is a very intelligent dog. This means that if they are left alone without occupation for long periods of time, they can become destructive. They are very strong willed dogs and without a clear family hierarchy, they can seek to dominate human family members.

The Border Collie is a very energtic dog. Without regular exercise, they can become destructive and develop annoying behaviours to burn off some of their extra energy.
